Overview
Our client, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a skilled Patent Agent with a minimum of two years of patent prosecution experience to join its thriving Intellectual Property practice. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the protection of innovations in wireless communications, AI, processor architecture, and more. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with patent prosecution in the following areas:
5G, Wi-Fi, and other wireless technologies
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Processor and memory systems
Image processing and RF front-end technologies
Responsibilities
Draft and prosecute patent applications in collaboration with inventors and attorneys
Evaluate invention disclosures and assess patentability
Respond to USPTO Office Actions
Work closely with clients to develop and manage strategic IP portfolios
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Registered to practice before the USPTO (or eligible for registration)
At least two years of patent prosecution experience
Exceptional academic credentials and communication skills
Preferred Experience
Client-facing experience in managing patent portfolios
Technical background in autonomous vehicles, robotics, natural language processing, computer vision, or wireless communications
