The FORTNA Leadership and Development Rotation (LADR) Program is a 1-year, rotational program for entry-level Professional Services and Engineering talent with a passion for technology, automation and client service. Through training and business-critical assignments, technical and business skills are developed. LADR graduates have the foundation to contribute innovatively to client success. The program includes tracks in Project Management, Consulting, Engineering, Electrical Controls Engineering, Client Support, Maintenance and Software Development. Program members are full-time Fortna Associates in rotational assignments to accelerate development and assimilation into the business.

Controls Engineering PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Write and implement PLC code, integrate subsystems, and assist in on-site commissioning efforts.

Utilize Human Machine Interface (HMI) with products such as Ignition, Aveva Intouch Wonderware, Aveva Edge (Indusoft) or FactoryTalk View to develop interface solutions.

Implement PLC and HMI programs to satisfy current design and customer specifications under supervision of Sr Controls Engineers.

Able to review and understand electrical designs.

As part of a team, support commissioning of complex automated systems, provide site engineering support, and participate in system acceptance testing.
