Manufacturing Engineer II
Location:
Temecula CA (100% Onsite)
Duration:
3+ Months
Shift Time:
5:00am to 1:30pm
Pay Range:
$45/hr to $50/hr (W2)
Job Summary Provides support to the Manufacturing organization to facilitate efficient operations within the production area, to optimize existing processes, and to ensure that production goals are met. Monitors performance of equipment, machines and tools and corrects equipment problems or process parameters that produce non‑conforming products, low yields or product quality issues. Interfaces with Quality and Research & Development organizations to integrate new products or processes into the existing manufacturing area.
Responsibilities
Initiates and completes technical activities leading to new or improved products or processes for current programs and next‑generation programs to meet strategic goals and objectives of the company.
Prepares reports, publishes, and makes presentations to communicate findings.
Analyzes and solves problems from basic engineering principles through complex advanced problems that require novel and innovative approaches.
Develops knowledge in a field to become a recognized leader or authority in an area of specialization and applies this knowledge in leadership roles.
Incorporates business policies and procedures into task completion.
Uses business and customer needs to guide engineering work.
Creates internal and external networks of resources to complete tasks.
Mentors employees, shares technical expertise and provides feedback and guidance.
Interacts cross‑functionally with internal and external customers.
Acts as a consultant for engineering or scientific interpretations and advice on significant matters.
Provides guidance to lower‑level staff and mentors them.
Plans, organizes, and prioritizes own daily work routine to meet schedule.
Exercises authority and judgment within defined limits to determine appropriate action.
Failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions may delay program schedules.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Master's Degree preferred.
Minimum 2‑5 years of related work experience with good understanding of specified functional area.
Experience performing in a quality‑system environment.
Problem‑analysis experience at moderate scope.
Eligibility:
