Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled global category manager to join our Site Services Procurement team as an Associate Director to look after MRO services globally.
In this role, you will lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies and initiatives, and the relationship and performance management of strategic suppliers for manufacturing equipment maintenance, operations and repairs services ("MRO Services") globally. You will work closely with our Company’s Manufacturing Division and Global Workplace & Enterprise Services (GWES) Organization, including their business leaders. Your expertise will drive cost efficiencies, mitigate risks, and foster innovation through strategic sourcing and supplier management.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute category strategies for MRO Services at global, regional and local levels, primarily in the US and Ireland.
Lead cross‑functional teams through the Sourcing Management Process and drive competitive sourcing events (RFQs, RFIs, RFPs). Support vendor selection, commercial negotiation and contracting.
Implement Supplier Relationship Management to maximize supplier performance, ensure contract compliance and delivery of contractual commitments.
Drive cost savings, value generation, tier‑1 & tier‑2 supplier diversity, and scope‑3 emissions reduction through strategic sourcing, contract negotiations and supplier relationship management.
Required Education, Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering or related field.
Minimum 10 years of working experience in procurement, supply chain, engineering or manufacturing.
Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, including MRO services and category lead across multiple sites.
Proven track record of developing category strategies that deliver cost savings and operational improvements.
Proven track record of managing supplier relationships and governance across multiple stakeholders.
Project Management skills and experience leading sourcing initiatives from initiation to implementation.
Effective communication skills to collaborate across global teams.
Ability to build strong relationships and network with all chains of command in the organization.
Ability to lead transformational initiatives and influence cross‑functional teams to adopt new ways of working.
Autonomy and self‑directed work style.
Willingness to find answers to problems and challenges independently and through internal & external collaboration.
Comfortable working within international, remote teams.
Proficient in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Education, Experience & Skills
MBA or advanced degree.
Experience working with or in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Compensation Salary range: $126,500.00 – $199,100.00. This range reflects the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role in good faith. An employee’s position within the range will be based on several factors including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
Successful candidates may be eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable.
