Infosys is seeking a
Java Lead with Splunk
to provide technical expertise and coordinate day‑to‑day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems, build applications, interface between applications, understand data security, retention, and recovery. The role holder should be able to research technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions, contribute to technology‑specific best practices and standards, and guide and mentor the team during the build and test phases.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA or Pennington, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
Experience in Production Support.
Experience in Splunk & Dynatrace.
Experience working in monitoring tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Java Support.
Experience in maintaining and enhancing Java‑based applications, ensuring their optimal performance, and utilizing monitoring tools for proactive issue resolution.
Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
Experience in utilizing Splunk and Dynatrace to monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations. Configure alerts and dashboards to proactively detect and address potential issues.
Experience in working closely with cross‑functional teams, including development, operations, and quality assurance, to deploy updates, patches, and new features.
Experience in maintaining comprehensive documentation of support processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure continuity.
Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment, collaborating with various departments to achieve common goals.
Familiarity with other monitoring and logging tools, such as AppDynamics, New Relic, or ELK stack, is a plus.
Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and Kafka, scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
Good communication skills.
Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
