The Product Security Team is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst / Developer to support the creation of a KPI dashboard that consolidates data from multiple sources across the organization. This short-term role will focus on data extraction, transformation, and visualization to provide actionable insights for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy a KPI dashboard using Tableau or a comparable business intelligence tool (e.g., Power BI, Looker).
Write and optimize SQL queries to pull, clean, and aggregate data from multiple internal systems and databases.
Use JQL (Jira Query Language) to extract and integrate relevant data from Jira.
Utilize Python scripts or APIs to pull structured data from Jama for reporting and visualization.
Partner with functional leads (e.g., Product, Quality, Security, Operations) to identify and define key metrics.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all sources.
Deliver a scalable and maintainable dashboard with clear visual storytelling for executive and operational use.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or BI Developer.
Strong proficiency in SQL, Tableau (or other BI platforms), JQL (Jira), and Python (for data integration).
Experience working with data from multiple systems and formats (e.g., relational databases, APIs, spreadsheets).
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred
Experience with data modeling and ETL/ELT processes.
Familiarity with cloud data environments (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS Redshift).
Background in reporting for product, security, or quality metrics is a plus.
