Position Overview
We’re seeking an individual who will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, organizing and executing events. These events aim to raise, foster community engagement and generate funds.
Key Responsibilities
Event Conceptualization: collaborate with the team to develop event themes and objectives.
Coordinate logistics: Assist to manage logistic aspects related to venue, permits, supplies, schedules, and volunteers.
Collaborate with FYAR’s program team.
Marketing and Promotion: Work with the outreach team to create promotional materials and implement marketing strategies.
Liaise with vendors, performers, and community partners to secure necessary services and support.
Budget Management: Assist with fundraising events and donor appreciation activities to ensure cost effectiveness and financial accountability.
Post Evaluation: Maintain a post-event debrief process with lessons learned and attendance stats.
Qualifications
Experience in event planning, project management, or community organizing (professional or volunteer)
Organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Creativity and a strong eye for detail
Passion for youth empowerment, the arts, and community building
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a remote team
