Oversee tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, and high-resolution scanning to ensure top-tier specimen quality.
Manage histology requests from start to finish—communicating effectively, delivering feedback, and ensuring timely completion.
Supervise clinical and non-clinical sample logistics, maintaining full compliance with protocols.
Implement quality control measures for histological integrity, including equipment upkeep, sample handling, issue resolution, and data accuracy.
Provide technical guidance to R&D scientists on histology best practices and ensure lab safety, regulatory compliance, and high service standards.
Qualifications
AS or BS degree in Histotechnology, Biology, Pathology, or related Life Sciences.
HT or HTL certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
5+ years of hands-on histology experience.
Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a customer-first mindset.
