Responsibilities
Provide nursing care within the scope of licensure for assigned patients according to established nursing standards and hospital policies and procedures.
Perform specific nursing services designed to promote and maintain health, prevent illness and injury, and provide care based on standards established or recognized by the DC Board of Nursing, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program for licensed practical nurses.
Current Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN license from the District of Columbia. BLS required. ACLS preferred.
Minimum one year's prior experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Safety Sensitive – Designated Positions.
