Job Summary
The faculty of the Department of Women’s and Gender Studies at the University of South Carolina, Columbia campus, invites applications for two 9-month, full-time, tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 16, 2026. The successful candidate will produce high-quality, highly visible research and teach at a high level of performance, in addition to maintaining an active service portfolio. The standard teaching load is two courses per semester, including Introduction to Women’s and Gender Studies and courses in the faculty member’s area of expertise.
