Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater

Job Description As a Project Water/Wastewater Engineer you will apply engineering principles to a broad variety of assignments, independently make decisions on small projects, and contribute to client‑focused solutions.
Responsibilities
Perform detailed engineering tasks such as project design, cost estimates, and design calculations.
Prepare project documents and adhere to project scope, schedule, and budget to align with project objectives.
Independently develop new techniques and procedures on complex assignments.
Collaborate with project managers on design work, report progress, and highlight potential challenges.
Attend client meetings and supervise, coordinate, and review work for less experienced staff.
Coordinate with other Olsson technical teams, professional staff, and clients.
Travel to job sites as needed for observation in all terrain and weather conditions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Six or more years of industry experience, preferably in wastewater engineering.
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) status.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a team.
Passion for collaboration, ownership of work, and positive community impact.
