Job Summary and Qualifications What you will do in this role

Utilizing standardized menus for setting up individual patient trays with required products.

Maintains portion control using standardized menus.

Maintains standards for sanitation in the preparation of all food products.

Assembles serving line items for easy access.

Sets up a condiment area with food products, beverages, and required condiments appropriate for menus.

Sets up condiment area with dishes, silverware, and other tray items as needed.

Maintains equipment and work areas in a sanitary and safe condition.

Adheres to schedules for all cleaning of all equipment and food preparation areas.

Provides routine maintenance and care of all equipment with reporting of problems.

Uses effective and safe equipment.

Assembles and delivers items to patient care areas as needed to include:

Patient nourishments.

Stock requests.

Late trays and other requested items.

Performs other related duties as assigned by Dietitian.

Follows standardized menus accurately in preparing all patient trays.

Utilizes principles of infection control and sanitation in the preparation, serving, and storage of food products use in tray service.

What qualifications you will need

Food Handlers/Safety must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
