Job Description

Supervisor over daily activities of the Meter Services team including scheduling and routing daily assignments for staff.

Responsible for the customer service fleet including vehicle maintenance monitoring fuel reports and payment of toll charges.

Assists with complex inspections and audits as requested and periodically meets with internal and external engineers.

Assists with Kronos time management, team member training, coaching and support, and processing performance evaluations.

Performs advanced research and coordination of proper resolution with respect to department issues and customer complaints to mitigate further escalation.

Assists with overseeing billing projects; including planning, delegating and executing project goals and objectives efficiently.

Maintains firmness while handling sensitive escalations yet remains empathetic and responsive to customer needs.

Performs other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Graduation from high school or equivalent and four (4) years of customer service experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.

Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License.

Preferences

Prefer candidates with four (4) years of field work and previous meter reading experience throughout the Orange County Utilities Service area.

Candidate must be able to clearly communicate requirements while removing barriers and facilitating timely and accurate completion of service orders, routes and uploads.

Candidate must be able to facilitate a large diverse team base to maximize productivity and capitalize on different self-managing styles.

Prefer candidates with demonstrated ability to work closely.

Salary Information Pay Grade: 015 - From $25.00 to $32.49 FLSA Status: Exempt Placement based on Education and Experience

Hours & Work Schedule Hours: 40 Work schedule: 6:30 a – 3:30 p / Monday – Friday Selected candidate will be required to successfully complete the pre-employment drug, physical and background check.
