Job Title: Staff Accountant –Fixed Assets Location: Charlotte, NC 28277 Duration: 03 Months contract (Possibility of Extension) Pay Range: $30 to $32 / hr on W2 Job Description :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant –Fixed Assets to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the capitalization of business projects and ensuring accurate recording and reporting of the organization’s fixed assets. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic business environment. Responsibilities
Manage capitalization of business projects and verify supporting documentation for capital asset additions, disposals, and transfers. Review and process capital asset transfer requests and other asset-related transactions. Perform detailed analysis and reconciliation of fixed asset records to ensure accuracy and compliance. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement automation solutions where appropriate. Support special projects and other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. 2–3 years of experience in fixed assets accounting. Proficiency in SAP is required. Strong ability to organize, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data. Experience identifying and implementing automation tools or solutions is highly desirable. Ability to adapt to changing business environments and organizational structures. Skills & Competencies
