We are looking for talented technicians to help full‑scale production of the Kuiper satellites. The success of Kuiper depends on the quality, reliability, cost, manufacturability, throughput, and security of the products that you deliver. Key Job Responsibilities
Maintain configuration control and monitor health of automated equipment
Troubleshoot and diagnose failures of automated equipment
Gather data and communicate during equipment downtime
Perform preventative maintenance activities on equipment
Drive machine operation process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory
Follow work instructions and safety procedures
Independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables
Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance
Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations
Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc.)
Contribute to improving SOPs and safety procedures
Additional Requirements
Will work overtime and weekends as needed. Estimated shift times are Wed‑Sat, 4X10 5pm‑3:30am
Stand for long periods of time, climb ladders, bend, grasp, sit, pull, push, stoop, and stretch as required
Lift up to 25lbs unassisted
Must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines
Basic Qualifications
High school or equivalent diploma
3+ years experience in mechanical or electrical hardware assembly, test, and/or installation
1+ years operating and/or maintaining high volume manufacturing equipment
1+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments (calipers, multi‑meters, torque wrenches, feeler gages, gage blocks)
Experience of ownership of the performance and health of automated processes
Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings
Ability to gather and analyze data to support root cause diagnosis
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years experience in mechanical or electrical hardware assembly, test, and/or installation
3+ years operating and/or maintaining high volume manufacturing equipment
3+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments (calipers, multi‑meters, torque wrenches, feeler gages, gage blocks)
Experience in the aerospace industry, automotive industry, medical device industry, aviation, military or other high‑reliability operating environment
Experience in a fast‑paced production environment
Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements
Experience working with Electro‑Mechanical Assembly
