We are currently seeking a Dynamic Senior Sales Manager to take charge of the Corporate, Association and Group Tour Markets. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual with at least two (2) years of experience in hotel sales who is familiar with Delphi and has a deep understanding of the Portland market.
Sales Incentive Hilton offers a best‑in‑market Short‑Term Incentive Plan (SIP) to our Sales, Catering & Events teams to reward employees for their contributions to company financial success. The plan includes a quarterly component worth 20% of bonus‑eligible earnings and may contain multiple individually weighted objectives, providing many opportunities to earn a payout.

What will I be doing? Specifically, you would be responsible for the following:
Represent the hotel through proposals and external sales presentations to prospective customers, negotiating and closing hotel sales, and establishing agreements with vendors.
Travel and engage in sales activities outside the hotel to meet with customers, participate in tradeshows and community events, promote facilities, propose, maintain contacts and close deals.
Write proposals and/or contracts to advise prospective groups for meeting space and banquet dates, and develop and quote prices.
Attend weekly sales departmental meetings and other scheduled meetings to support business operations, including review of tentative bookings, lost business, group pickup, etc.
Conduct site inspections and property tours with potential customers, visiting guest rooms, meeting space and banquet facilities.
