Job Description
The Global Product Training Development team, part of the Global Customer Success function, is responsible for leading the design and execution of global product training development strategy by creating and developing global product training materials for both internal and external audiences, including end customers and distributors. The team supports the entire portfolio of technology solutions across multiple livestock species.
We are currently seeking a Product Training Developer to join our team. This role involves designing and developing training materials and tools for product functionality and technical training, which will be used by internal sales personnel, distributors, and customers.
As a Product Training Developer, you will work closely with internal key stakeholders and product subject matter experts to create effective training resources.
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform role-based product training needs analysis and suggest an end-to-end training plan and outline for training deliverables.
Develop content for training and knowledge resources to be used by after-sales personnel, distributors, and end-users including storyboards, and scripts for product functionality and technical training.
Lead Update and maintain existing training materials to ensure they consistently align with business needs.
Lead building and maintaining training repository for internal team members and dealers.
Participate in overall training initiatives and contribute to the growth and improvement of existing training content associated with our products and processes.
Lead the deployment of digital training tools.
Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts across cross functional teams in multiple time zones to gain technical expertise and understand business needs for effective training development.
Requirements Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing time-zone-based environment.
A proactive, team-oriented attitude with superb interpersonal communication skills.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English, combined with strong presentation abilities.
An understanding of Adult Learning Theory and Instructional Design principles is an asset.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, focusing on Instructional Design, Writing, Social Sciences (including Education, Communications, Business, Psychology, Sociology), or a related field.
Professional Experience
1-2 years of experience in developing training materials - Proficiency in designing impactful and engaging training deliverables.
Experience with classic training development tools - Experience with AI tools, Articulate 360, and LMS – would be considered an advantage.
Experience working within a global organization would be considered an advantage.
