About the Role
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the company’s rapid expansion through hands‑on capital asset accounting, project setup and tracking, and process improvement initiatives. This position will help integrate newly acquired assets, manage the capital ledger, and support the company’s readiness for future growth opportunities.
Reporting to the Director of Accounting, this role offers exposure to the executive team, operations leadership, and cross‑functional project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage accounting for capital assets — project setup, maintenance, and closeout.
Support Asset Financial Evaluation (AFE) processes and track capital project budgets.
Assist with integrating newly acquired assets into the financial systems and reporting structure.
Participate in monthly close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting for capital and operational accounts.
Contribute to process documentation and internal control development as part of public company readiness efforts.
Collaborate with capital and supply chain teams in monthly meetings to review financials and operational spend.
Present financial results and insights during CapEx and operational meetings.
Support system enhancements within NetSuite and related accounting tools to accommodate growth and efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA eligibility preferred.
3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within energy, midstream, or capital‑intensive industries.
Strong understanding of capital project accounting, fixed assets, and GAAP compliance.
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
