Business Advisory

group works with a wide range of stakeholders in the organization on projects related to business development and strategy, market fundamentals, and value chain development within both core maritime sectors and emerging market opportunities.

As a

Management Consultant , you will work on challenging projects requiring both quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive insights and conclusions. You will engage closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders to support and shape their decisions and strategies. The engagements will span a broad set of topics including market assessments, competitor analysis, screening and benchmarking, strategy development, among others. You will support BD Project Managers, divisional BD resources, as well as other parts of the organization with research and analysis in addition to preparation and presentation of relevant materials.

We are looking for individuals that hold a keen interest in the maritime sector and the emergence of energy transition. The successful candidate is expected to establish her/himself as a core resource within the

Business Advisory

group, and to contribute with high-quality services to all relevant parts of the organization. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to directly contribute to the company’s vision and growth ambitions ahead.

Key responsibilities

As part of our Business Advisory group, you will:

Work on a wide range of different projects and engagements for internal stakeholders related to business development and strategy

Research, gather, clean and analyze data and information as required

Develop high-quality project material, e.g. presentations, reports, data deliverables, etc.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, project teams and other parts of the organization

Attend relevant project and stakeholder meetings, presentation of materials/projects

Project management could be relevant pending the candidate’s seniority and experience

Support internal business intelligence workflows and capacities on-demand

Support consulting proposal and scope definition on-demand

Qualifications and experience

University degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or similar from a renowned education institution. Solid academic results.

1-4 years of work experience from management consulting is preferred, but not a prerequisite. Other relevant backgrounds include business/strategy development, business intelligence, market analysis, and similar. Graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Experience with and/or interest in the maritime industry’s value chains, shipping, energy, sustainability, decarbonization, and other related topics.

Strong knowledge and experience with MS Office products (especially Excel and PowerPoint), experience with Power BI is beneficial

Proven analytical skills and strong commercial mindset

Programming skills are an advantage but not a requirement

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required
