We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Quote Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in providing accurate and timely cost quotations to support our sales and business development efforts. Ideal candidates will have a solid finance, business or engineering background, combined with strong costing or pricing development experience.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and prepare accurate, competitive, and timely quotes for custom vehicle builds and client specifications.
Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs in coordination with engineering and production teams.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Engineering departments to ensure pricing accuracy and margin targets.
Maintain costing models and update them based on material or process changes.
Interface with dealers and customers to understand technical requirements and pricing expectations.
Track quote performance and assist in quote-to-order conversion analysis.
Support continuous improvement in costing and quoting processes.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Engineering
3+ years of experience in costing, pricing, quote analysis, or a related field.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
Experience with ERP and quoting systems.
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations.
Preferred
An MBA will be considered an asset.
