Direct Jobs, Bel Air, Maryland, United States, 21014
Animal Emergency Hospital (AEH)
is seeking veterinarians passionate about working in emergency medicine for our 6- to 9-month training and mentorship program (timeline dependent upon mastery of skillsets and procedures). We are looking for individuals who are team oriented, driven, reflective, and reliable to train with us and transition into an ER position at AEH.
We are a 24-hour Emergency/Critical Care Practice that cares for small animals (canine/feline and some exotics). We have a skilled support staff and a pleasant working environment. Our hospital offers 15,000 sq ft with 8 exam rooms and 2 surgical suites.
Ethos ER Immerse Training Program Built from the ground up to be different than traditional rotating internship programs, the ERi program has been developed around a curriculum of core competencies essential for an emergency veterinarian. In addition to providing training around clinical knowledge and skills, the program also includes a focus on client and team member communication, professional skills, and life/work integration.
The ER Immerse program utilizes a hybrid training approach incorporating simulation-based didactic components into authentic training experiences with live patients. The curriculum is designed using an evidence-based strategy identifying competencies and skills deemed essential for a successful career as an emergency clinician.
