We are excited to announce that we are recruiting for an additional
Gas Engineer
to join our expanding, family‑friendly team!
To join our successful team, you must:
Demonstrate substantial experience in the repair and maintenance of gas appliances (installation and use). Hold current qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, and HTR1 with at least 1 year remaining until expiration. Possess demonstrable plumbing experience.
Responsibilities Travel in the company‑allocated van to complete daily repairs and maintenance of gas appliances in tenants’ properties for our reputable social housing client, West Kent Housing Association, with homes throughout Kent.
As a Brenwards Gas Engineer You will consistently produce high‑quality work with a keen eye for detail. You will foster positive relationships with residents, ensuring politeness and professionalism to reflect our mission of providing high‑quality, customer‑focused service, aligned with our contract objectives. You will demonstrate excellent skills in your primary trade and competency in at least one other secondary trade, depending on your experience level. You should also be willing to learn new skills and attend relevant training courses as needed. You will be a good team player, able to work independently, and have the ability to identify potential problems and develop solutions until resolution is reached.
We also require from you Awareness of Health and Safety requirements & CDM Regulations. A willingness to go the extra mile to provide excellent service. A valid driver’s license with the willingness to travel outside of Kent when required.
Benefits Monday‑Friday work schedule (no emergency/out‑of‑hours call‑out) Competitive salary: £15.52/£17.38/£19.24 per hour rate, depending on experience Generous benefits package including 25 days
plus
bank holidays, birthday leave, volunteer leave, pension, Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), and excellent training and progression opportunities.
