Responsibilities
Design and pre‑test online surveys to be administered to residents of the metro‑Atlanta region.
Coordinate with Qualtrics and ensure all completed surveys meet data quality standards.
Clean and analyze all data collected using appropriate regression analyses to identify determinants of wildlife tolerance.
Generate a final report for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (GADNR) that includes descriptive statistics, regression results, and recommendations.
Present study results to GADNR and disseminate findings at academic meetings and conferences.
Undertake additional research and extension tasks as identified by the principal investigator.
Qualifications
At least a baccalaureate degree in human dimensions, social sciences, or a related discipline.
Preferred: MS or PhD in a human‑dimensions, social‑science, or related field.
Experience in survey design and quantitative analysis, including logistic regression.
Proficiency with statistical software suitable for scientific analysis (e.g., R, STATA).
Completed graduate‑level coursework in human‑dimensions theories and methods.
Demonstrated ability to apply theoretical frameworks to applied research contexts.
