Avionics Circuit Design Engineer
where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state‑of‑the‑art avionics product in a world‑class Integrated Product Development environment.
Location:
Sunnyvale, CA (on‑site). You will work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full‑time. This position does not support teleworking.
What does this role look like? This is an Avionics Circuit Design Engineer role where you will work on the development, integration, and production of a sophisticated electronics product in a world‑class Integrated Product Development environment.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
Design and build the circuitry of the electronics product.
Collaborate with PWB, GN&C, FPGA, and STE teams to construct and checkout this hardware.
Design and prepare checkout and test procedures to bring this hardware product to Acceptance and Qualification, ensuring the product meets customer requirements and is ready for flight.
Qualifications:
8+ years professional experience in digital or analog circuit design and performing electronics analysis (Worst‑Case Analysis or Electrical Parts Stress Analysis).
Experience with schematic capture (i.e. Zuken) or electronics simulation software (i.e. PSPICE).
Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Must have an active DoD Secret clearance and be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
Experience on Space and/or Missile Defense Missions.
Experience in electronic systems schematic creation and interpretation, and Electronics Modeling/Simulation Software such as SPICE.
Experience in schematic capture using Zuken or similar software.
Experience with PSPICE, Saber or other electronics simulation software.
Demonstrated good communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment and to shape consensus among peers.
Demonstrated thorough problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Adaptable to new situations and able to independently solve complex problems.
Security Clearance Statement:
