Manufacturing Technician Job at Insight Global in Hampton

In this role, youll support engineering and manufacturing teams by optimizing product flow, improving quality, and enhancing efficiency. Youll develop and maintain fabrication processes, troubleshoot equipment issues, and manage projects. Using LEAN, Six Sigma, and 6S methodologies, youll drive continuous improvement in the production of medical subcomponents, contributing to innovation and operational excellence at TE Connectivity.

- Working knowledge of Solid works, Auto-CAD and/or Pro-E
- Must be action oriented with the drive for results and work with minimum supervision once given the scope of work.

- Associates degree (AA) in an Engineering discipline
- Mechanical aptitude
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean tools
- Experience with preventative maintenance
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Experience supporting yield and productivity goals
- Documentation and reporting proficiency
- Ability to operate PCs and industrial equipment
