Team Size: 10–12 Employees

Salary: $80,000–$90,000/year (based on experience)

Overview

COMPANY is seeking a hands‑on Production Supervisor to lead daily operations at our food processing facility. This role ensures safety, quality, and efficiency across all production activities. You’ll manage a team of 10–12 employees, collaborate with leadership and QA, and help drive continuous improvement. Ideal candidates are bilingual (Spanish/English), detail‑oriented, and ready to grow into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular safety trainings and toolbox talks
  • Investigate incidents and maintain safety records
  • Serve on the Safety Committee and ensure OSHA compliance
  • Identify and report facility safety concerns
  • Drive employee engagement and morale aligned with company values
  • Coach and develop team members
  • Lead by example and demonstrate AF leadership traits
  • Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, and SQF standards
  • Maintain strong relationships with USDA inspectors
  • Validate food safety documentation across multiple sites
  • Support audit readiness and product consistency
  • Oversee daily plant operations and performance
  • Plan staffing based on budget and production needs
  • Manage equipment and facility upkeep
  • Execute production schedules and ensure material availability
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor KPIs to reduce waste and improve yield
  • Report costs and recommend process improvements
  • Maintain accurate inventory and rotation practices

Supervisory Duties

  • Hire, train, and evaluate production staff
  • Assign tasks and manage workflow
  • Address employee concerns and foster development
  • Ensure operational efficiency and team accountability

Qualifications

  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform essential duties (accommodations available)
  • Minimum 5 years in food manufacturing (preferred)
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
  • HACCP and Food Service certifications
  • Familiarity with USDA/FDA regulations (required)
  • Proven leadership and budget management experience
