About the role We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Trade Marketing Manager to join our team and take ownership of trade marketing strategy across our on-premise and off-premise channels. In this role, you will act as the bridge between our commercial and marketing teams, ensuring that trade activations align with brand objectives, optimize market performance, and drive visibility and growth for our wine portfolio. Key Responsibilities Include: Trade Strategy & Execution: Lead the development and implementation of annual trade marketing plans by channel and region to drive sell-in and sell-through. Trade Strategy & Execution: Localize brand campaigns for trade execution to suit independent retailers, wholesale, symbol stores, fine dining, and end consumers. Trade Strategy & Execution: Manage customer activation calendars aligned with sales targets and product seasonality. Trade Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with marketing agencies to produce artwork, POS materials, and tailored customer/channel activations. Promotional Planning & Execution: Plan and execute in-store/on-premise promotions, tasting events, and visual merchandising initiatives. Promotional Planning & Execution: Work closely with sales to design and implement customer-specific promotions and trade offers. Promotional Planning & Execution: Measure promotion effectiveness (ROI, lift, engagement) and optimize future campaigns. Promotional Planning & Execution: Manage and optimize A&P investment to drive consistent year-on-year effectiveness improvements. Sales Enablement & Support: Develop sales tools, presentations, and trade decks that support commercial objectives. Sales Enablement & Support: Train and educate sales teams and distributor partners on brand story, product knowledge, and promotional execution. Sales Enablement & Support: Support customer meetings by preparing sell-in presentations and materials when required. Channel Insights & Reporting: Analyze sales data, shopper insights, and market trends to inform trade plans and corrective actions. Channel Insights & Reporting: Monitor competitor activity and pricing, reporting insights to key stakeholders. Channel Insights & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date documentation supporting trade marketing planning, execution, and review. Budget Management: Manage trade marketing budgets across multiple brands and channels. Budget Management: Ensure efficient allocation of funds and compliance with spending policies. What You'll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. 5+ years’ trade marketing experience in wine, alcohol, FMCG, or forward-thinking brands. Strong understanding of the wine category and retail environment (on- and off-premise). Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver measurable results. Excellent project management, analytical, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM and sales data platforms is a plus. Experience in BTL activation development, implementation, and review. Why Join Us?
