Janitorial Shift Supervisor

$18 to $20 per hour
Required Experience -
At least 2 years of experience
As a Shift Supervisor, you are the cornerstone of our evening operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities Team Leadership:
Direct and motivate a team of janitorial staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring all shifts are adequately covered. Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections of client sites to ensure all work meets

high standards and client specifications. Training & Mentorship:
Train new hires on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and the use of equipment and chemicals. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to all team members. Inventory & Equipment Management:
Monitor supply levels, manage inventory, and ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and functioning. Troubleshooting:
Address immediate operational issues, handle minor disciplinary matters, and resolve client concerns as they arise on your shift. Reporting:
Complete daily shift reports, documenting task completion, attendance, and any incidents. Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum of
2 years
of experience in the janitorial or commercial cleaning industry, with at least
1 year
in a supervisory or team lead role. Skills:
Proven leadership, strong communication, and problem-solving abilities. Must be comfortable with cleaning chemicals, equipment (buffers, scrubbers, etc.), and safety protocols. Work Ethic:
Highly reliable, punctual, and able to work the
evening/night shift Physical:
Ability to lift and perform physical duties such as standing, bending, and lifting for the duration of the shift.
