Job Summary

We are seeking an on-site Systems Administrator – Microsoft Intune Specialist to support our New York City workforce.

This role focuses on device lifecycle management, endpoint security, and hands-on technical support.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and endpoint protection tools, along with excellent communication and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft Intune & Endpoint Management Administer Microsoft Intune for Windows, iOS, and Android devices. Deploy compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application packages. Manage Windows Autopilot for provisioning and enrollment of new devices. Security & Compliance

Implement and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. Collaborate with security teams on Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Sentinel. Monitor and remediate non-compliant devices to maintain security standards. Helpdesk Support & End-User Services

Provide in-person support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Respond to technical requests via Jira and email. Conduct onboarding/offboarding sessions, including: Device setup and Intune enrollment. Configuration of Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, VPN). Secure decommissioning of devices. Coordinate vendor service calls and assist telecom technicians. Support on-site network and security deployments as needed. Documentation & Communication

Maintain detailed documentation for IT processes and troubleshooting. Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical and executive staff. Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs). Required Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in IT support or systems administration. Proficiency with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Endpoint Manager. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender, Purview, Sentinel, Azure AD, and Office 365. Working knowledge of Windows Server 2019+, Windows 10/11, and Active Directory. Understanding of networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP). Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware). Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or CompTIA A+. Experience in multi-site corporate environments.
