About the Company
Our client, a rapidly growing real estate investment platform, is hiring for a Senior Analyst to sit on their Asset Management team. The Senior Analyst will support financial reporting, property performance, and investor relations across 2,000+ units, working closely with property management partners and senior leadership to execute on business plans and drive portfolio value.
This is a hands-on role suited for a detail-oriented self-starter who enjoys both the analytical and operational sides of real estate asset management. You’ll have exposure to C-level executives, direct reporting to the Director of Asset Management, and significant runway for professional growth within a mission-focused organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial and operational performance for a portfolio of workforce and affordable housing assets (2,000+ units).
- Monitor property-level reporting and prepare monthly and quarterly financial analyses, including budget vs. actual variance reviews.
- Collaborate with property management teams to optimize performance, occupancy, and expense control.
- Participate in investor-level discussions and reporting, supporting LP and joint venture communications.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to inform rent strategies, capex planning, and capital improvement initiatives.
- Partner with senior leadership to execute business plans and evaluate portfolio performance.
- Travel to regional properties (up to 40%) to oversee on-site operations, engage with partners, and track progress toward asset goals.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in real estate asset management or acquisitions, ideally with multifamily exposure
- Strong financial acumen and working knowledge of Excel (DCF, IRR, and variance modeling)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with investors, property managers, and leadership
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and maintain momentum in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
