Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 educational setting in Hampstead, NC is seeking skilled Sign Language Interpreters for multiple 1:1 contract positions available for the uping school year. Candidates will be assigned caseloads based on their experience, providing valuable interpretation services to support students' munication needs in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clear and accurate sign language interpretation for 1:1 student support
• Facilitate effective munication between students, teachers, and staff
• Adapt interpreting techniques to meet individual student needs
• Collaborate with educational teams to enhance student participation
• Maintain confidentiality and professional ethics in all interactions

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proficient Sign Language Interpreter with relevant experience in educational settings
• Preferred EIPA score of 3.5 or higher; candidates with alternate scores will be considered
• Ability to handle multiple assignments with professionalism and flexibility
• Strong interpersonal skills and mitment to student success
