Job Description & Requirements ~ Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab ~ Discipline: RN ~ Start Date: 11/17/2025 ~ Duration: 13 weeks ~40 hours per week ~ Shift: 10 hours, days ~ Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN with an active CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and Fluoro Permit for a hospital-based position handling cardiac and vascular cases. Responsibilities Work in the Cath Lab unit of an acute care hospital Perform procedures including coronary diagnostic/intervention, peripheral diagnostic/intervention, pacemaker placements, and work with patients with coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmias Typical daily caseload of 8-12 procedures Uses Epic for charting Day shift schedule: four 10-hour shifts, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Weekend and call coverage required No floating required within the Cath Lab Orientation consists of 30 hours Responsibilities include prepping patients, circulating, monitoring, and assisting with interventional cardiac and vascular procedures First-time travelers are welcome to apply Weekend and call duties are part of the routine schedule Scrubs provided in the Cath Lab Free parking available during orientation, with designated parking thereafter Return travelers must have a 3-month gap from previous perm employment and not reside within 50 miles of the facility Minimal requested time off considered; all RTO must be approved at time of offer Requirements Active CA RN license required Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications required ARRT certification and Fluoro Permit required (RCIS only is not accepted) Willing to consider candidates with a pending CA Fluoro permit if application is in process Must provide at least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable setting Benefits ~ High Pay and Bonuses ~ Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options ~401(k) Plan ~ Weekly Payroll Deposit ~ Free Online CEUs ~ Generous Housing Allowance ~ Travel and Licensure Reimbursements ~ Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy ~ Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-621692.
