Residence Counselor Overnight

Base Pay Range

$17.50/hr – $20.00/hr

New increased starting wage:
20.50/hr – $21.00/hr for ICF House (depending on related experience) + $2.00/hr overnight differential.
Sign‑on bonus for eligible positions:

• $2,000 for full‑time, ICF Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• $2,000 for full‑time, Residence Counselor Overnights
• $1,500 for full‑time, Residence Counselor
• $1,000 for part‑time, Residence Counselor

Full‑time positions are now eligible for a $1,500–$2,000 sign‑on bonus, plus $375/$500 every three months for one year. Part‑time positions are eligible for a $1,000 sign‑on bonus, plus $250 every three months for one year. New hires and rehires are eligible for this sign‑on bonus.

Nature of Work

The Residence Counselor is responsible for the actual implementation of each individual's Individualized Program Plan as determined by the person and their Service Planning Team. This includes ongoing teaching/assisting with community integration, social and recreational activities, money management, transportation, behavioral needs and overall health and well‑being. The Residence Counselor meets regularly with the Shift Supervisor, QIDP, Residence Manager and other Service Planning Team members to ensure services are appropriate and meet expressed (or implied) needs, likes, and choices of the individual. The counselor respects each individual's home, belongings and agency property.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred). Verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Prefer at least one year of experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities or a related field.
• Valid driver's license with a record that meets insurability guidelines to operate agency‑owned vehicles.
