Cellular Field Tester – Job Description for Cellular Field Testing

Key Responsibilities

• Expertise on 3GPP specs for 3G/4G/5G NR technologies.
• Hands‑on experience testing Android and Apple smartphones and smart watches.
• Performed field testing for carrier certification for US operators (Verizon, AT&T, T‑Mobile).
• Log analysis & debugging UE issues using tools like QxDM, QCAT, XCAP, Wireshark, STT, ELT.
• Conducted issue investigation and represented findings to client.
• Performed daily testing and sent reports to client.
• Basic understanding of RF concepts and scripting knowledge (Python) is a plus.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-4 years of experience in smartphone field testing.
• Excellent understanding of 3GPP specs for 3G/4G/5G NR technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with Android and Apple products like smartphones and smart watches.
• Worked for carrier certification for USA operator (Verizon, AT&T & T‑Mobile).
• Log analysis & debugging UE issues.
• User Equipment Testing.
• Python or any scripting knowledge is a plus.
