JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for JANITOR in Decatur, AL. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Janitor to maintain cleanliness and organization within our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment that complies with all safety and health regulations.

Responsibilities of a JANITOR includes, but are not limited to, the following:

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors using appropriate cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuums).
• Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.
• Clean and maintain loading docks, storage areas, and warehouse aisles.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
• Follow established safety protocols and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs, as required.
• Support the warehouse team with additional tasks during downtime, such as organizing inventory or cleaning equipment.

Job Requirements of a JANITOR:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience in a warehouse or industrial environment is a plus.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs. and standing for extended periods.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and cleaning chemicals.
