Your Day to Day as a Waste Water Treatment Mechanic
- Mechanically installs, troubleshoots, and repairs industrial equipment. At times, this will include working in tight or confined spaces while wearing respiratory protection and other protective clothing such as gloves, coveralls, and safety shoes.
- Safely operates cranes, hoists, power tools, motorized equipment, and hand tools safely.
- Performs work following specialized procedures in a radiological environment.
- Identifies, repairs, and replaces faulty equipment through keen observation, troubleshooting, and analytical rationale.
- Maintains parts and equipment stock for PMS and emergency breakdowns.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance related experience is required.
- Must demonstrate skills and knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems as well as possess an understanding of instrumentation and controls such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level devices.
- Must have a basic understanding of SCATA/HMI systems.
- Must possess proven ability in being a team player and self-starter with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain respirator qualifications.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Waste Water Operator License is recommended, but not required.

Security Clearance
