Overview

A successful candidate requires professionalism, great attitude, good communication skills and outstanding customer service with full understanding of the accounting cycle, GAAP and intermediate accounting functions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee full-cycle Accounts Receivable (A/R) including invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliation.
  • Manage cash receipts and bank deposits, ensuring timely posting and accuracy.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain proper cash control.
  • Supervise full-cycle Accounts Payable (A/P) including invoice review, approvals, and vendor payments.
  • Execute the weekly check run and maintain vendor relations.
  • Ensure payroll accounting is properly recorded and reconciled with ADP reports.
  • Maintain accurate General Ledger records and prepare monthly journal entries and accruals.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
  • Manage inventory valuation and costing accuracy for kits and components in Sage 100.
  • Collaborate with the group company in Spain for intercompany reconciliations and reporting.
  • Support external audits for tax and accounting matters.
  • Assist in budget preparation, cost control, and financial analysis as requested by management.
  • Identify process improvements and implement stronger internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Proficiency in Sage100 ERP System
  • Exceptional verbal, written and communication skills
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and with teams
  • Bilingual English–Spanish (required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience (required)
  • Knowledge or experience in Human Resources and administrative coordination will be valued including training and record management, workers’ compensation liaison, healthcare and benefits administration, recruiting and onboarding support, as well as participation in general office activities and special projects as assigned.
