Actively hiring for MULTIPLE Legal Secretary positions in New York. These are hybrid, full-time positions with a top law firm based in New York. Openings are available across several practice groups, including Finance, Corporate, Labor & Employment, and Litigation. Legal Secretaries provide high-level support to attorneys and paralegals, handling a range of administrative and client service functions that keep the practice running efficiently.
HOURS: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST and 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST
SCHEDULE | LOCATION: HYBRID | New York, NY
PAY: Up to $95K (Commensurate w/Experience) + Discretionary Bonus
IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 4–5 years of Legal Secretary experience supporting multiple attorneys
- Background in Finance, Corporate Transactions, or Litigation preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe
- Experience with e-filing (state and federal), document formatting, time entry, and billing procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail
- Professional, personable, and highly organized with the ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced setting
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, revise, and format a wide range of legal documents, including transactional and litigation materials
- Coordinate client billing, expense reporting, and attorney time entry to meet firm deadlines
- Manage travel arrangements, meeting logistics, and calendar coordination for attorneys and teams
- Handle new client and matter intake, including conflicts checks and file maintenance (electronic and paper)
- Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and staff across all practice groups
- Support firm-wide initiatives and collaborate with other Legal Secretaries as needed.
