Join to apply for the Director, Cybersecurity role at Broward College. This position reports to the Chief Technology Officer and is responsible for all cybersecurity strategies and operations for the college. The individual will lead the cybersecurity department, manage the institution’s cybersecurity risk posture, and strengthen its defense against internal and external threats.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive information security policies and procedures, leading incident response and investigations, conducting cybersecurity awareness sessions, managing internal and external audits, and ensuring third‑party information security compliance is met to protect the college’s information systems and data.
- Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred.
- An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
- 8 years of progressive experience working in cybersecurity or information technology.
- 3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Industry certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM, CompTIA).

Salary Range: $86,238 - $102,408 (salary commensurate with education and experience).
