Dock Worker (afternoons) Job at Maine Oxy in Auburn

Maine Oxy Pay Range

Our starting hourly pay is $22/hour. A $1 shift differential is paid for hours worked after 4:30 pm on weekdays and for any rare weekend hours. An additional $1 Winter differential is paid if a qualifying winter storm impacts our Auburn location. All new hires in these roles will be eligible for a $1,000 sign‑on bonus (paid in increments).

Job Opportunity

Maine Oxy has a current opening for a Second Shift Dock Worker in Auburn, ME. This is a full‑time, year‑round, entry‑level position.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Loading/unloading cylinders and hard goods
• Using a forklift, pallet jack, or cart to move cylinders
• Working on the dock inside and outside
• We will train the right person
• Opportunity to grow and earn more per hour

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday 2 PM – Until Completion (usually around 12 am)
• Friday 12 PM – Until Completion (usually around 8 pm)

Requirements

• Must be able to work Monday–Thursday 2 PM – Until Completion and Friday 12 PM – Until Completion
• High school diploma or GED
• Regularly required to see, speak and hear
• Frequent sitting and standing, walking, bending, using hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; may stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Ability to perform very heavy work—regularly lift 10–20 pounds and occasionally lift 50–100 pounds
