Materials Coordinator, 3rd Shift Night - $22.50 (+$2.00 Night Shift Differential)
The Material Coordinator is responsible for the accuracy of inventory of products, materials, and raw ingredients. They will ensure that physical inventory matches system inventory and identify and review inventory discrepancies. Working closely with the Purchasing Manager, they monitor high‑value items and quickly‑consumed materials and notify the Purchasing Manager and Warehouse Manager of any discrepancies. They also collaborate with the Production Department to ensure raw materials are correctly consumed in Work Orders and maintained by FIFO, and investigate root causes of inventory issues.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Food Safety & Safety: Perform tasks according to safety and food safety standards, participate in training, and promote a culture of safety.
- Accurately report production totals and transfer finished products to designated warehouse locations.
- Print and apply pallet tags to all manufactured product.
- Verify and report accuracy of TGI and inventory reports (LITS – Lots Inventory Tracking System).
- Complete and submit daily raw and finished product inventories.
- Supply production with raw and packaging materials and log raw materials into LITS.
- Return leftover materials to the designated warehouse area.
- Report RFID gun and label printer issues to IT.
- Maintain raw and finished products organized for FIFO access.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Lead.
- Keep warehouse storage racks, pallet areas, coolers, and freezers clean and organized.
- Remove cobwebs and chipping paint from walls and ceilings.
- Demonstrate a willingness to serve and teamwork.
- Comply with all SQF requirements and maintain workstations per SQF guidelines.
- Keep Corn Return Area and Flour Return Area clear of ingredients physically and in system.
- Remove broken pallets from production area.
- Verify incoming materials meet internal specifications.
- Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials.
Minimum Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 2 years’ relevant shipping and receiving experience required.
- 1-2 years’ inventory experience preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience operating forklift/industrial equipment.
- 1-2 years’ experience using the company’s ERP system or other software.
- Fluent in English preferred.

- Operate forklift, electric lift, scissor lift, pallet jack, and drive heavy equipment.
- Operate mobile scanner device (RFID gun) for inventory tracking.
- Excellent team player, professional, self‑motivated, reliable and punctual with schedule flexibility.
- Maintain attendance and punctuality policy compliance.
- Compliance with drug and alcohol zero tolerance policy and food safety certification policies (SQF, Gluten‑Free, Organic).

Working Conditions and Physical Effort
- Continual walking, standing, and driving heavy equipment such as forklifts and electric lifts.
- Climbing in and out of forklifts and descending steps.
- Continual bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, and lifting to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to cold, hot temperatures and noise.
