Job Summary:
At D&J Precision Machine, our success depends on accuracy, organization, and efficiency — and that starts in our warehouse. We’re looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate to support all aspects of material flow, from receiving and storage to staging and shipping. This role is crucial in keeping our production teams supplied with the right components at the right time, ensuring every part that enters or leaves our facility meets our high standards of precision and quality.
The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in maintaining order, accuracy, and safety. This position requires strong attention to detail, reliable communication, and a team-oriented attitude. You’ll work closely with production to maintain smooth operations and support our commitment to delivering excellence to each customer.
This role is based at our Cambridge, Ohio location and is a fully onsite position.
Requirements
Experience:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, components, and supplies for accuracy and quality.
- Properly label, store, and organize materials and engines to maintain a clean, efficient warehouse layout.
- Pick, stage, and deliver raw materials or parts to production and assembly areas according to schedule.
- Accurately maintain inventory levels through routine counts, data entry, and reconciliation with ERP or manual systems.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring documentation, labeling, and carrier coordination are correct and complete.
- Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
- Communicate inventory shortages, damaged materials, or delivery delays promptly to supervisors and related departments.
- Support the company’s lean and 5S initiatives by maintaining an organized, hazard-free, and visually clean workspace.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse equipment and report malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and purchasing teams to ensure materials and parts flow seamlessly through all stages of the manufacturing process.
- Participate in cross-training opportunities and special projects to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
