We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for managing complex accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Assist with audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to support business decisions.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on complex transactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or a corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
