About The College/Unit/Department: The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, founded in 1946, is dedicated to training future veterinarians, providing services to animal owners and veterinarians, and conducting investigations to improve the health of animals as well as people.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Designing digital and print materials such as brochures, booklets, digital display signs, etc., utilizing the visual identity and branding guidelines of UGA and the College of Veterinary Medicine.
- Assisting in related office work, such as scanning and filing media clips and photos.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Summary: This position is within the Office of Marketing and Communications, which is a support unit for the College of Veterinary Medicine. The main responsibility of this position will be to create digital and print designs for various units within the CVM.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification In Position: UGA student studying graphic design and/or marketing.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Competencies: Demonstrated ability to proficiently use Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Canva. Ability to think creatively and multi-task. Knowledge of UGA’s brand is a plus.
