Position Overview

As our team rapidly expands across multiple companies and project types, we’re searching for a Human Resources Generalist to shape and scale the people operations that fuel our growth.

The HR Generalist will oversee all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, compliance, and benefits administration. You’ll partner with leadership to build the systems and processes that support a growing team while fostering a positive, high-performance workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Develop clear job descriptions and hiring processes to attract top talent.
- Create a seamless and welcoming onboarding experience that sets new hires up for success.
- People Operations & Culture
- Build and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks that align with company values and compliance standards.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a collaborative and motivated culture.
- Act as a trusted resource for employees, handling questions, concerns, and conflict resolution with professionalism and empathy.
- Support leadership in building career pathways, training programs, and team development initiatives.
- Performance & Compliance
- Manage performance review cycles, feedback frameworks, and goal‑setting processes.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor regulations.Oversee benefits administration, leave management, and workers’ comp requirements.Maintain accurate employee records and HR data reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification a plus: SHRM‑CP, PHR).
- 2+ years of progressive HR experience, including recruitment, compliance, and employee relations.
- Experience in a growing company or startup environment strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of California labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build HR systems, policies, and programs from the ground up.
- Proactive problem solver with a hands‑on approach and strategic mindset.
