How you will make an impact:

Crane Currency, a maker of banknotes for central banks worldwide, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for our growing Alpharetta site, supporting approximately 85 hourly and 45 salaried employees. You will provide a broad range of HR services including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, learning and development, organizational effectiveness, and some compensation and benefits administration. This is a hands‑on role where you will partner with site and HR leadership to foster a high‑performance culture and drive continuous improvement, shaping the employee experience and supporting our mission of innovation and excellence.

• Serve as HR site leader of Alpharetta, reporting to the Director of HR (Nashua, NH)
• Partner with site and HR leadership to promote a high‑performance culture
• Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, engagement, retention, and exit
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR matters
• Coach managers on performance management and development
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
• Support organizational effectiveness and drive employee engagement

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business, or equivalent
• 5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience
• Proven success in onboarding and selection at all levels
• Strong employee relations and counseling experience
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with HRIS systems

Preferred:

• Microsoft Office Advanced Excel and AI/data analysis skills
• Manufacturing experience
• Analytical skills for data‑driven decision‑making
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of state and federal employment law
• Sound judgment, discretion, flexibility, and integrity
• Professional Certifications (SHRM, Six Sigma, PMP, Data Analytics, AI, etc.)
