Director of Product Management – Impact & Responsibilities

Vision and strategy: Define a bold product vision for accounting and translate ambitious ideas into a clear, compelling strategy and roadmap that rallies the team.

Customer‑centric product development: Champion customer needs, drive a culture of feedback and iteration, and balance short‑term delivery with long‑term outcomes. Collaborate deeply with Engineering, Design, Data, and Customer Experience.

Leadership: Attract, grow, and retain world‑class product talent, building a culture of high performance, inclusion, and continuous learning. Lead through trust, transparency, and accountability.

Collaboration: Partner closely with Finance, Services, Sales, and Marketing to ensure product strategy supports all key initiatives and position you as the product expert and thought leader for accounting.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

10+ years of product management experience or a closely related field.

5+ years of experience managing and mentoring product managers in SaaS environments.

Track record of delivering customer‑centric products in partnership with Engineering and Design.

Familiarity with agentic AI, modern development practices, and continuous delivery.

Experience with 0‑to‑1 new product development as well as optimizing existing products for growth.

Ability to create a multi‑year view of product priorities and investments; articulate impacts and trade‑offs.

Demonstrated ability to foster high‑performing culture and lead through growth and complexity.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a low‑ego, high‑trust style.

Background in accounting is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits Base pay: $200,000 – $250,000. Benefits and details available on request.
