Psychiatrists are needed for a busy outpatient clinic serving a diverse patient population. We are currently hiring psychiatrists to serve varied populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and individuals with addiction disorders. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching and education, as supervision of psychiatry residents and participation in didactic lectures are key components of this role.
The psychiatrist will perform comprehensive psychiatric diagnostic evaluations, provide follow-up medication management, and work closely with therapists and other clinical team members to ensure integrated, patient-centered care.
Base pay range $260,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr
Staff Composition
Therapists, social workers, attending psychiatrists, lead psychiatrist, medical director, administrative leadership, and nurse practitioners.

Daily Caseload:
Approximately 14 patients per day
Orientation & Training
Initial Training:
One-day hospital-wide orientation (held the first Monday of each month)
Ongoing Support:
On-the-job training with strong guidance from the lead psychiatrist
Qualifications
Education & Training:
Completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency Program
Licensure:
Active NY State Medical License
Certifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (within 5 years of residency completion)
BCLS required; ACLS optional
Experience:
Proven experience working in busy mental health programs treating adults with severe mental illness
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with EMR systems (preferably Meditech); proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic computer applications
Competitive salary range of $260,000–$300,000
