Overview Prudent Technology LLC is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our team. You will work with a talented group designing, developing, and delivering mission‑critical programs. The position focuses on enterprise Data Analytics Shared Services (DASS) for new federal government projects, providing enterprise data analytics, shared services, and reporting capabilities.
What You Will Do This position provides technical leadership in delivery of leading data analytics solutions as a Solution Architect. You will work closely with a team of data engineers, business analysts, data scientists, and cloud engineers. You will be responsible for leading DASS high‑performance application design, database architecture, cross‑platform technical guidance, and problem resolution. The Delivery Lead shall perform data engineering, AI/ML implementation, data infrastructure/operations, and data security tasks in cloud environments.
Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and provide technical oversight for development team
Lead one or more multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent products and services
Collaborate with the Product Owner, Task Order Managers, and other government and contractor personnel
Maintain accountability for product quality and delivery
Use modern techniques and frameworks for data development
Develop using modern standards, including strict mode compliance, modularization techniques and tools, and frameworks and libraries
Use relational and non‑relational database systems
Participate in data discovery and requirements gathering sessions with IT Data Team staff and other subject matter experts
Work in a team environment that uses agile delivery methodology
Use version control systems
Develop and document the flow of data at the element level from outside sources, and the passage and usage of this data through the client’s systems
Manage creation of a comprehensive, searchable data object inventory
Inventory all client business intelligence reports (Tableau, Microstrategy, Cognos, Qlik) based on relational and dimensional sources
Communicate the solution concepts to stakeholders at all levels
Qualifications Must have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in the Information Technology field focusing on implementation projects using DevSecOps and AWS cloud environments.
5+ years of experience managing projects across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
5+ years of experience managing IT projects and successful delivery of IT transformation and change management programs
5+ years of experience with major technologies across platforms: Oracle, PostgreSQL, OBIEE/OAS, SAP BusinessObjects, DataStage, Pentaho, Jenkins, GitLab
5+ years of experience directly managing teams
AWS Certification
Experience with full stack data architecture delivery, including at least three (3) years of experience in AWS
Shall have at least three (3) years of specific software engineering experience related to data services
Shall possess experience in large scale, high performance enterprise big data application deployment and data architecture on complex heterogeneous environments in AWS
Shall possess experience with automation and engineering tasks, data, infrastructure/operations, and security engineer tasks in cloud environments
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline such as Snap, Jenkins, Concourse, etc
Basic experience in: Kotlin, Scala, Cassandra, Kubernetes, GRPC, Lambdas, TypeScript, Prometheus or design pattern
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Solid understanding of Git/Github
Experience delivering solutions using Agile delivery practices
Minimum Education Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or computer science.
Clearance Must be eligible to obtain government clearance; HSPD‑12 Cleared preferred.
Salary $180,000 – $210,000 per year.
Location McLean, Virginia (remote with onsite meetings at client and corporate office).
