Account Director, Client Services Sit at the intersection of omni‑channel marketing, data, and project management for one or more of MERGE’s marquee life sciences accounts. Your role will be to understand client business objectives, formulate strategies, and inspire cross‑functional talent to deliver outcomes and long‑term growth.

Key Responsibilities

Establish credibility with client stakeholder groups from Marketing, Analytics, IT, and Commercial/Sales organizations.

Formulate omni‑channel strategies based on client goals across strategy, digital transformation, experience, creative, and front‑end/back‑end development.

Understand technical platforms and solutions (e.g., Google and Adobe Analytics, SFMC/Marketo, Google Marketing Platforms) and conduct due diligence on third‑party technologies.

Manage multiple business pieces and projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.

Evaluate contemporary marketing and customer experience programs across brands and channels.

Grow and diversify client relationships by identifying additional business needs across brand, communication, data‑driven marketing, experience design, and innovation.

Bring innovative ideas and solutions to MERGE teams and clients.

Help clients anticipate changes in life sciences category and market forces.

Recalibrate marketing strategy based on data‑driven and industry insights.

Data and Analytics Stewardship

Take ownership of client data analytics infrastructure to guide data strategy and BI roadmaps.

Own and maintain primary data lake for the client, sourcing new data and maintaining legacy data schemas across media and performance data inputs.

Interface directly with client as an internal stakeholder to understand data needs and provide right outputs to drive business decisions.

Ongoing data quality control and proactive data cleansing guidance.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in an advertising agency, marketing services, or consulting.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Life Science industry experience a plus.

Deep understanding of digital strategy and execution across channels.

Experience developing multi‑touch, targeted customer journeys – Marketo and CDP experience a plus.

Advanced client management and relationship skills, especially expanding business within existing clients.

Strong proficiency in data analytics, business intelligence, data visualization – SQL experience a plus.

Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Domo, Tableau, Qlik, Looker).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Strong working knowledge of contemporary marketing and customer experience initiatives.

Commitment to client, attention to detail, and strong problem‑solving ability.

Salary The salary range for this role is

$98,000–$118,000 , based on the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
